Is there anything Xavi can't do?

The former Barcelona midfielder has made a career out of playing vital passes for Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi and a host of other skillful players for club and country. But he's got some skills too - even if, at the age of 36, he's approaching the end of his career with Al Sadd in Qatar.

Xavi has been announced as an official ambassador for Generation Amazing, the flagship CSR programme of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) which is tasked with delivering the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

And ahead of a Generation Amazing trip to Jordan to conduct training sessions with youngsters in a refugee camp, the Spanish legend showed off some of his quality in a skills challenge. Xavi had no problem doing 100 keepy-ups in just 41 seconds and managed to score a great behind the corner spot shot.

But the best bit came when he hit the crossbar three times in a row - reminiscent of Ronaldinho's famous Nike advert during his time at Barcelona in 2005:

How good is that? No matter what Xavi does, it's hard not to love the guy. And he does it all in trainers too - that's quality!

He's sure to have a big part to play in Qatar delivering what should be a hugely memorable World Cup in six years.

You can learn more about the work Xavi's doing as a Generation Amazing ambassador here. The project aims to be a catalyst for social change and is being rolled out across Lebanon, Syria, Pakistan, Nepal and Jordan - all countries with the need for issues to be addressed.
