Tim Howard may have fallen out of favour in his final season at Everton, but the man who was known as 'Captain America' during the last World Cup has been repeating his heroics between the sticks for Colorado Rapids.
Howard returned to Major League Soccer in the Summer, having spent 13 years in the Premier League with Manchester United and Everton. Now back in his homeland, Howard is pulling out all the stops once again, including a penalty save against Real Salt Lake last night which ranks among the best we've ever seen.

Unfortunately for Howard, his penalty saving heroics couldn't prevent the Rapids succumbing to a 2-1 defeat, leaving them level on points with Salt Lake, in third place in the Western Conference, although the Rapids do have two games in hand.
