To anyone attempting to score the best goal in all of the football action today, good luck beating what Shinji Kagawa has just produced.
League leaders Borussia Dortmund faced a tricky away trip to fifth placed Augsburg in the Bundesliga and were looking to get back to winning ways after losing 3-1 to Champions League winners Real Madrid in midweek.
And with the score at 1-1 in the 23rd minute, following Andriy Yarmolenko's strike being cancelled out by Augsburg's Caiuby, Kagawa produced a delicious chip to put Peter Bosz's side back in the lead.

Having been picked out by Yarmalenko just inside the box, Kagawa nonchalantly served up an utterly sublime first-time dink that made a fool out of Martin Witz in the Augsburg goal.

The dreamy effort was eerily similar to a chipped goal the former Manchester United man scored against Schalke in April 2016.
And in scoring that stylish strike, Kagawa has made Bundesliga history as he is now the highest-scoring Japanese player in the league. He has now scored 38 goals in the German top flight, one more than his compatriot Shinji Okazaki, the Leicester City striker who turned out for Stuttgart and Mainz.
