The MLS Cup was played last night while you were sleeping and saw Toronto and Seattle Sounders lock horns at BMO Field.
The game went to penalties after a 0-0 draw in 120 minutes of action but Toronto would have definitely had the win in the bag had it not been for some incredible goalkeeping by Stefan Frei.
The Swiss goalkeeper, who incidentally is a former Toronto player, produced an unbelievable save to keep out Jozy Altidore's goal-bound header in extra time.

Seattle would then edge out their Canadian opponents, with a 5-4 win on penalties meaning they will compete in the 2017/18 CONCACAF Champions League.
