Bastian Schweinsteiger ended his miserable spell at Manchester United by securing a switch to the States, and he's making quite the impression.

The German midfielder bagged his second goal for Chicago Fire as they comfortably beat New England Revolution 3-nil.

(Remember that American reporter asking Schweinsteiger about winning the world cup?)

Schweinsteiger gave Fire the lead just before the interval with a well worked team move, before rounding off the sequence with a lovely finish.

Check out his effort from a few different angles:

Schweinsteiger netted the single Premier League goal during his time at United, while he's already found the back of the net on two occasions in the MLS.

He'll be next in action on Friday as they travel to Canada to face Toronto FC.

The 32-year-old will come up against fellow-European midfielder Giovinco who's been tearing it up in the MLS since moving from the Serie A in 2015.
