AC Milan's newest signing has quite the reputation.

Last night, the club confirmed the transfer of Hakan Calhanoglu from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported £22 million. The Italian's have recruited heavily and continue to bolster their ranks with the signing of the Turkish international.

While they've drafted in some exciting and talented players, the 23-year-old could very well be the best of the lot. Calhanoglu rose to prominence in Germany before getting a crack at the Bundesliga.

He starred for Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen and he's now set to ply his trade at the iconic San Siro. And during his stint in Germany, he became renown for his expertise at the dead ball situation.

After a disappointing sixth place finish last season, Milan will be expected to mount a challenge for the Scudetto title while harbouring ambitions of regaining a spot back in the Champions League.
