He's scored three goals in his past four games, and displayed pace to burn.

Leon Bailey's last three goals are concrete evidence that he is one of the most exciting young prospects in world football today.

The latest wonderkid to emerge from Belgian side Genk, the Jamaican is blossoming into a devastating attacking player who has caught the eye of several Premier League and elite-level European clubs.

The rapid winger, who displays a similar level of speed on the pitch to what his pal, eight-time Gold medallist, and fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt, conjured up on the track, joined Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of €20 million just under a year ago and he's been an absolute revelation this term.

The former Belgian Young Player of the Year has eight goals and four assists to his name in 16 appearances this season. He's scored three in his last four and you'll notice the very same pattern whenever he finds the net.

Every time Leverkusen regain possession, they look to break quickly - a tactic that perfectly suits their Jamaican speedster. His double against Hannover in a thrilling 4-4 draw last weekend was basically the same goal happening twice.

With the ball in central midfield, he bombed down the left on both occasions, collected the well-timed through ball and slotted home with his left foot. It's genuinely frightening how fast he is.

Then, in the 1-0 DFB Pokal win over Monchengladbach in mid-week, he demonstrated his pace to burn by turning on the shots when fed on the left, and again supplied a cool finish.

It's no surprise to read that he's being linked with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea when he's performing at such a high level. Bailey is well on his way to superstardom so don't be surprised if he gets a massive move in the near future and continues his path to glory.

Bayer clearly value him incredibly highly and will no doubt demand big bucks if they do feel they have to sell at some point.
