And the World Cup Group A qualifier provided a moment of brilliance from Arsenal's Olivier Giroud.
He opened the scoring against their Swedish counterparts in the 37th minute with a perfectly executed volley.

Giroud's 27th goal for his country now means he's tied with Real Madrid's Karim Benzema, but has reached that mark in much fewer games.
Benzema's 27 goals has come in 81 games while Giroud has reached the same amount of goals but in just 63 internationals.
