Did Liverpool make a mistake by getting rid of Mario Balotelli?
Well, judging by the blistering start to the season made by Jurgen Klopp's side, you'd have to say the Reds are perhaps better off without the Italian striker, but Balotelli certainly seems to be getting back to his best in France.
Playing for Ligue 1 side Nice, the enigmatic former Manchester City and Inter Milan forward has looked like a player transformed - and like a player interested in football again.

Today, Balotelli added to his tally for the season against Nantes, finishing a slick move from close-range by slicing the ball with the outside of his boot:
That means Balotelli has now played seven games for his new club and has scored seven goals in the process - not too bad, eh? He'll be out of contract in the summer - could one of Europe's footballing superpowers take a chance on him?
