Manuel Neuer proved why he's the best keeper on the planet after producing a stunning finger-tip save to prevent Karim Benzema from scoring.

Bayern Munich faced Real Madrid this evening in the first-leg of their quarter-final tie, with the return leg scheduled for next Tuesday.

Arturo Vidal gave them the ideal start in the 25th minute before fluffing his lines from the spot, failing to double their lead.

But in the second half, they had Neuer to thank following his heroics between the sticks.
