The perennial dark horses opened their account in style thanks to Luka Modric.

'The Blazer's' boast quite the line-up with Mandzukic, Rakitic, as well as Real Madrid playmaker Modric who scored an exquisite full-volley from outside the box finding the near corner for Croatia's opener.
