Jackson Martinez. Fredy Guarin. Ramires. Alex Teixeira. Gervinho. Paulinho, Tim Cahill, Demba Ba. Asamoah Gyan. - Just a number of recognisable names that have joined the Chinese Super League in recent months.

Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony could have easily joined this group of respected names, as he was offered a massive £7 million deal to play in China for big-spenders Guoan Beijing and Guangzhou Evergrande.

But Bony snubbed the chance to move, because he dreams of success at City.

The Ivorian was unhappy after being dropped by Manuel Pellegrini following the return of Sergio Aguero, who wasn't 100% fit during his return to first-team action, but he wants to fight for his place at the Etihad.

City bought the 27-year-old for £28 million from fellow Premier League side Swansea, who also offered Bony the chance to move back to his former club.

It was also revealed that Southampton forward Graziano Pelle rejected approaches from five clubs in the Chinese Super League.

Who knows what will happen in the summer if China are spending BIG money like this...
