Watch: Lionel Messi Sent Francis Coquelin Back To Arsenal

It's got to the point where being nutmegged by Lionel Messi is almost an honour now, such is the amount of players who have been destroyed by the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Former Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin, now playing for Valencia after completing a January move, joined the 'Messi nutmeg club'.

Barca drew first blood in the Copa del Rey semi final by winning the first leg over Los Che, with a Luis Suarez second-half goal enough for the victory at the Nou Camp.

And the game featured Messi mugging off opponents left, right and centre, with Coquelin an unfortunate victim.

After jinking in between a couple of players, the Frenchman came out to press the diminutive Argentine but he simply rolled the ball through his legs.

The move didn't quite have the success Messi was hoping for as the ball trickled away, but fans loved him humiliating Coquelin:

It's nothing personal, Francis, it's just Messi doing what he has to do. On the bright side, he's got a tale to tell the kids and grandkids somewhere down the line.
