Ramires might be plying his trade in the Chinese Super League - but there's no denying he's got the talent to play at a much higher level.

The Brazilian midfielder turns out for Jiangsu Suning after completing a £25million move from Chelsea just over a year ago.

At 29, players shouldn't be expected to drastically lose form or ability, but you'd think Ramires might suffer playing at a lower level than what he was used to at Stamford Bridge and with the Brazil national team.

However, we thought wrong - as his superb goal for Jiangsu this morning shows.

They're away to Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League and have a big away goal thanks to the quality of Ramires. Skip to the 40 second mark for his goal:

That's the kind of quality that made him a favourite at Chelsea and justifies the £25million price tag on his shoulders.

Jiangsu take Osaka back to China next month for the second leg of their Champions League clash and will hopes Ramires' goal has given them a big advantage.
