Juventus booked their place in the final of the Champions League with a 4-1 aggregate win over Monaco.

The Old Lady went into the second leg in the Mario Mandzukic bagged the opener, before Dani Alves made it two with a spectacular volley from the edge of the area after Danijel Subasic parried away an inswinging corner.

Bianconeri captain Gianluigi Buffon, 39, has the opportunity to win the Champions League, the only trophy that has evaded him in his glittering career, if Juventus can go all the way and beat whichever Madrid club reaches the final in Cardiff.

And the Azzurri legend was clearly buzzing at progressing to the final, judging by his post-match celebrations.

Even when all the players had left the pitch, footage captured Buffon celebrating with the Juventus fans all by himself and sharing the moment with them.

We really, really, hope that when the final whistle blows on June 3, Buffon is lifting the Champions League trophy for the first time!
