The captain's armband isn't something most fans would normally think about in a game but Huesca fans have been paying attention to captain Jorge Pulido's arm all season.

Most footballing people will tell you that the captain's armband doesn't matter too much and leaders will still lead without it but the armband worn by Pulido during away games in the Segunda division this year is very different.

In fact the 29-year-old hasn't worn the same armband all season because each armband is to pay tribute to the city or province of the club the team are visiting and after the match the home side are presented with the armband.

Spanish football journalist Alexandra Jonson explained in a brilliant thread what each armband meant for each club, it's a fantastic idea.

It's a really interesting way to learn about the different areas of Spain and the side still have away games against Racing Santander and Sporting Gijon to go this season so there's two more armbands to come.

Next season Pulido could be wearing some new armbands to explain the history of some more famous cities and clubs, with the team battling for promotion back to La Liga.

With four games to go the club are in the promotion places based on head-to-head record against third place Real Zaragoza and are five points behind leaders Cadiz.

Soon Barcelona and Real Madrid could be the subject of their own Huesca armbands.
