The MLS Goal Of The Season Compilation Is Something Else

The MLS Eastern conference and Western conference semi-final second legs take place this weekend and so we thought this excellent compilation put together by the MLS of the goal of the season from each respective season would be the perfect way to whet your appetite if you fancy tuning in for the games this weekend.

The MLS, though it has its critics, is a great league if you like weekly 10-goal thrillers and worldie goals being scored.

Thanks to the league's official Youtube account, we are able to kill some time by watching each year's goal of the season from 1996 right through to 2015. Stunning strikes from former Premier League players Landon Donovan, Brian McBride and Obafemi Martins make the cut, along with a host of thumping volleys, acrobatic goals and mazy runs - there's something for everyone in this MLS complilation.
