The Arabic Commentary From Mo Salah's Goal Is Passionate And Magical

A special goal for Liverpool's incredible player in the Champions League deserved special commentary and boy did it get it.

Great moments in football deserve great commentary. Sometimes they get it and sometimes they don't. Mo Salah's first goal against Roma in the Champions League really did get special commentary, in Arabic.

Sergio Aguero's goal for Manchester City against QPR to win them their first ever Premier League title in the dying seconds on the season was incredible, but it was made even more so by the iconic commentary, which was admittedly just Martin Tyler screaming his name.

Last night turned into a pretty special night for Liverpool. Having vanquished Manchester City in the quarter finals of the Champions League they faced Roma for a place in the final.

The first leg turned into a rout with the Reds hitting five past their Italian opponents, if it wasn't for two late strikes for Roma it would already be over.

Mo Salah was chief tormentor for the Serie A side and he bagged two brilliant goals. What was even more special than the goals was the commentary provided by Arabic commentators. It sounds brilliant but it translates even better:

If "O pride of the Arabs! Give us your art, give us your madness! Their torturer, their tormenter! Roma [sit there and] inspect the damage..." isn't the greatest line of commentary ever uttered then I don't know what is.

As wonderful as Tyler's 'Agueroooooooo' is it's got nothing on this magical and passionate turn of phrase by the Arabic speaking commentator.

Salah scored twice to take his goal tally for the season to a ridiculous 43 in all competitions with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, scoring a brace, giving Jurgen Klopp's side a 5-0 lead. Dzeko and Perrotti gave Roma hope late in the game but surely Liverpool will still go through.
