Remember when Sir Alex Ferguson convinced the Old Trafford board to part with £15m to make Wilfried Zaha his last ever signing as Manchester United manager? Didn't really work out, did it?

Yet it was probably the potential for moments of magic like the one Zaha produced for Crystal Palace against Hull City this afternoon that turned the legendary United manager's head three years ago.

During an enthralling match at the KCOM Stadium, Zaha fired Palace into the lead (the game is currently 3-3 at the time of writing) with a sensational solo effort that left half of the Hull defence with twisted blood, before slamming a terrific finish high into the roof of the net:

Oh my days, indeed. Zaha would go onto lay on Frazier Campbell for a dramatic late equaliser in the 89th minute but it'll take something very special for the recently declared Ivory Coast winger to top this effort, this season.
