Move over Sevilla, the best footballing comeback of the week goes to Schalke, who staged an incredible comeback from 4-0 down to claim a point in the Ruhr derby.

Dortmund raced into a four-goal lead at Signal Iduna Park, with goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Benjamin Stambouli (OG), Mario Gotze and Raphael Guerrero coming in a crazy 13-minute spell.

Peter Bosz's side looked well on course to record an emphatic derby victory but in the second half the visitors bagged four from the 61st minute onwards.

Guido Burgstaller and Armine Harit were on target in the 61st and 65th minute respectively to, before Daniel Caligiuri set up a grand-stand finish in the 86th minute.

And that grand-stand finished arrived in stoppage time, as in the 94th minute, centre-back Naldo headed home a bullet header to complete the remarkable turnaround.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was sent off for a second yellow in the 72nd minute and second-placed Schalke well and truly made the most of their extra man advantage.

Their sublime comeback got social media talking. Here are just a few of the reactions:
