Mo Salah Made A Very Fair Exchange For His Liverpool Shirt On Wednesday

Salah gave his Liverpool shirt to a member of the crowd after bagging a brace in their 4-0 win over Red Star in the Champions League.

Mo Salah finished Liverpool's game against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday night with a brace but the Egyptian will be even happier with the swap he made for his matchday shirt.

It always baffles me when footballers swap shirts after games. Unless you're getting a Lionel Messi shirt, or someone just as wonderfully legendary, then surely you want to keep your own shirt for sentimental reasons. 'Oh great a sweaty shirt from a left back I don't care about.'

These days half the players lose their tops to kids who are holding up signs literally asking for the shirts off their backs, as if they don't give enough on the pitch to them already!

Last night Mo Salah bagged a brace for Liverpool as the Reds continued their good form with a 4-0 win over Red Star Belgrade.

As if putting to bed any thoughts his form from last season had abandoned him wasn't enough one fan even wanted his shirt. But for once she offered him something as a swap.

The woman swapped a gift for the shirt and according to the Daily Mail it was a £42 of Thorntons chocolates, from the manufacturer's Corne Port Royal Classic Assorted collection.

The former Roma winger was in ridiculous form last season, winning the Premier League's top scorer award with 32 goals in the league on his return to England.

This season things hadn't been going quite as well and he'd failed to score for four games in a row. However he bagged the winner against Huddersfield at the weekend and followed it up with to versus Red Star.

His two goals against the Serbian champions took him to 50 goals, making him the Liverpool player to reach the milestone quickest.

Don't get me wrong I'd love a box of £42 chocolates but I'd much rather have a momento from the night I broke a club record and just buy the chocolates anyway.

(I'm getting a lot of hate after this one aren't I?)
