Chelsea and England midfielder Mason Mount baffled fans when he nonchalantly pulled off the most ridiculous trick shot.

The 22-year-old has played a key part for club and country this season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.

He continutes to impress with his attacking play at Stamford Bridgee. In fact, he has created the most chances, most shots on goal and most goals scored since Thomas Tuchel took over in January.

It's safe to say that Mount has a real eye for goal and a viral clip of him pinging a ball from a few yards out at Cobham training ground sums up his laser-accurate right boot.

In the clip posted on Chelsea's official Twitter account, the ball ricochets off another ball before landing into two holes in both top corners.

This surely can't be real, right?

Fans took to social media to question the legitimacy of Mount's incredible effort.

Mount has continued his incredible run of form in the Chelsea team under Thomas Tuchel as they reached the Champions League semi-finals earlier this week after beating FC Porto on aggregate.

Former player Joe Cole has tipped the England international to become a club legend at Stamford Bridge.

"I've been so impressed by him,' Cole told talkSPORT. "I trained with him at the back-end of my career. I was coming back from America and trained with them to keep myself fit.

"I knew from the first ten minutes of the training session that this was a special, special player.

Cole continued, saying: "I couldn't understand for the life of me why people weren't singing his praises [earlier in the season]. He's a young man and he's captained Chelsea this year. He's played regularly and scoring goals now.

"He's a top, top player and I think he can go all the way and, I don't want to put too much pressure on him, but I think he'll be one of the top players in Chelsea's history if he stays.

"I think he's that good, he has everything."
