To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Barcelona's famous La Liga victory in 1999, the good people over at Nike are ready to release one of the all-time great kits.
That's right. The classic 1998/99 home shirt is getting the remake it deserves.
Luis Figo, Patrick Kluivert and Rivaldo immediately spring to mind as this simplistic but effective design, most famous for centered badge and Nike swoosh. It just looks brilliant, to be honest.
It is rumoured that the above kit will be worn at the next El Clasico. Can you just Imagine Lionel Messi pulling on this famous jersey for one time and one time only?
According to the ever reliable Footy Headlines, this special-edition shirt will be available as authentic and replica version on 10 April 2019 - the same day as their away game at Old Trafford in the Champions League.
They also state that the shirt will retail at the same price as Nike's regular Barcelona kits.

This new release comes months after reports suggested Barcelona's 2019/20 home shirt will feature a design that is very different to what the club normally opt for, although Ivan Rakitic will be used to it.
As per Catalan outlet SPORT, the La Liga champions will be sporting a chequered square design that looks awfully similar to Croatia's traditional home colours.
