Mario Balotelli was clearly in a mildly nostalgic mood today and much to the delight of Manchester City fans, decided to watch the memorable 3-2 win over QPR on 13 May 2012.
The last-gasp win, thanks to two goals in stoppage time at the Etihad on the final day of the 2011/12 season meant City snatched the Premier League title from Manchester United's grasp and won their first league title for 44 years.

Balotelli played a crucial role, as his only Premier League assist was the most important - the substitute managed to drag the ball into the path of Sergio Aguero, who slammed home and wheeled away in celebration.
The fiery Italian is currently preparing to build on his most successful season in professional football, having re-signed with Nice, but found time to reminisce and watch that dramatic game five years ago.
He produced the following Tweet, and had a cheeky dig at arch-rivals United:
"I have a bit of melancholy I just review the winning match title vs qpr.. that was amazing and I really loved it. #mutdsorrynotsorry #lol." he wrote.

Of course, City fans absolutely loved their former striker harking back memories of that wonderful day.

Balotelli will forever have a place in the hearts of City fans, even if he was, and still is, a mad bastard.
