Demba Ba suffered a very unfortunate and awful leg break whilst playing in China last week. The former Chelsea striker has received a message of support from Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw.
If anyone knows how it feels to suffer such a bad injury it's Shaw who, after a promising start to last season with United, had his leg broken in a challenge during a Champions League game with PSV in mid September.
The former Southampton left back revealed this week that he worried the injury, which kept him out for the whole season including Euro 2016, might have to retire. Now back playing Shaw sent a nice message to Ba to wish him well:
The 31 year old former Newcastle striker is now playing in the Chinese Super League with Shanghai Shenhua and was playing in the Shanghai derby when he broke his leg.
There's now a long road to recovery for Ba to start on once the injury has healed.
We wish him all the luck in the world trying to get back to playing.
