There's a real buzz surrounding Kylian Mbappe at the moment.

Europe's elite are well and truly watching his situation after his stunning 24-goal season at Monaco, and a plethora of reports from several outlets have claimed that the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Arsenal have all tabled mammoth bids.

But as it stands, it seems as though the 18-year old will remain with Monaco - though there is of course plenty of time for that to change.

What we do know, is that Mbappe is quite comfortably the most in-demand, exciting young prodigy around, and he really knows his football.

Often when players, particularly youngsters, are tasked with picking their dream team, a lot of the time it mainly comprises of their teammates and it's a bit bland.

But the France international has clearly chosen his picks very carefully and has put together an unbelievable XI that is brimming with star quality and silverware.

In goal, he's gone for Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. The third highest appearance maker in Serie A, the Italian is still going strong at 39 and Mbappe, who is over half of his age - is well aware of how supremely gifted a goalkeeper he is and managed to sneak a consolation goal past him in the Champions League semi-final second leg in Turin.

There's another Italian in his defensive structure, with Mbappe opting for the great Paolo Maldini; another Italian who never seemed to age in looks or in his performance on the pitch.

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, aka the master of crucial goals, partners Maldini in central defence.

Bombarding Brazilian full-backs Cafu and Roberto Carlos have been selected to complete the backline. Mbappe evidently knows the importance of having deadly overlapping full-backs in a team, having had plenty of joy playing with the deadly duo Djibril Sidibe and Benjamin Mendy on a weekly basis last season.

In midfield, Mbappe has opted for a midfield three of five-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho and Zinedine Zidane, who tried to sign him for Real Madrid in 2013 and remains hell bent on acquiring him.

There'll be no balance or protection for the defence at all with this trio, but it'll be bags of fun - so who really cares?

His front three contains Neymar, the original Ronaldo and Cristiano Ronaldo, who was Mbappe's idol growing up.

The team does feel like something you would put together on FIFA and would probably end up being Maldini and Ramos at their back on their own, while the remaining eight outfield players strut their stuff.
