Born and raised in Paris, France, Kylian Mbappe gets his dream move after completing a whopping transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, and during his official unveiling he revealed his childhood idol.

The 18-year-old phenom shot to fame for AS Monaco after producing heroics in the Champions League, subsequently, in the close season he was attracting plenty of attention with Europe's elite keeping tabs on the talented striker.

Despite interest from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Arsenal, among others, PSG won the race to his coveted signature after tabling a £166 million (!!) offer.

He's rejected the opportunity to ply his trade in the Premier League and La Liga to remain in France's top flight, while donning the shirt of his childhood club.

And a young, well, younger Mbappe has said he idolised a PSG hero: "When I was younger, Ronaldinho was my idol," via ESPN.

The Brazilian spent two seasons in Ligue 1 between 2001 to 2003, lighting up France with his sheer flair and skill before moving to Barcelona.

After growing up watching him, Mbappe follows in his footsteps by joining the French giants, and he's set to link up with another Brazilian.

Mbappe will spearhead the attack alongside Neymar with the fellow new signing doing everything in his powers to help him win the Ballon d'Or.

"Neymar can help us to win a lot of trophies, so we must look after him. I will do everything I can to help him to win this Ballon d'Or. It would give me great pleasure, I will be able to touch it like this."

He wasn't the only French starlet to seal a move away from his club. Barcelona signed Ousmane Dembele for £97 million, and Mbappe believes he can become a great player.

"[He] become a great player alongside [Lionel] Messi and [Luis] Suarez," Mbappe added.

"We talked about it and he asked me what I thought. I told him to go there because it was a great opportunity for him. He can really become a great player alongside Messi and Suarez in attack. He's really going to improve. He already has incredible talent, but he can make another step up."

Mbappe is expected to make his PSG debut tonight against Metz.
