Trailing 1-0 against the Norwegians, the perennial walkovers could barely believe it when Mattia Stefanelli smashed home an equaliser, prompting scenes of unbridled jubilation which will hopefully result in a national holiday being declared:

Stefanelli's strike was San Marino's first goal away from home in World Cup qualifying since 2001. Even Bayern Munich joined in the celebrations:
