A wide number of England fans were livid when defender Gary Cahill was named in the England squad for World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia.
After all, the Chelsea defender had been in woeful form for Antonio Conte's squad yet still managed to keep his place in the squad. In fairness, he'll probably start both games as well.
In a time where Cahill's defending has come under fire, we thought it'd be fitting to remind everyone that Gary Cahill once scored a stunning overhead kick for Aston Villa in the Birmingham derby against arch-rivals Birmingham City back in 2005.

It's not often you see centre-backs scoring acrobatic screamers and Cahill's was just that.
As always with great goals, the commentary was gold as well.
"OH WHAT AN AMAZING FINISH FROM GARY CAHILL! DO NOT ADJUST YOUR SETS, THAT REALLY WAS A CENTRAL DEFENDER WHO JUST PULLED OFF THAT ACROBATIC MOVE!"

His celebration matched the goal he scored when he leapt into the Holte End to celebrate with the Aston Villa fans.
Same against Malta on Saturday please Gary. Best way to silence your doubters, right?
