But what if he was the president of FIFA. Well, Pique was asked what he would like to see changed if he was at the helm of the footballing governing body.

"I would like to change the arbitration system, the pressure of the referee in a match is too great. To be able to eliminate injustice and to have less controversy would introduce means Technological developments that would improve arbitration," he added.

Pique started his footballing venture as a Barcelona graduate. He then moved to Manchester United before breaking into the first team.

Though a lack of opportunity in the Premier League saw him return to his boyhood club, and he's been an ever present since.

After returning to the Camp Nou in 2008, Pique has won the lot. From La Liga to Copa del Rey titles not to mention bagging an impressive three Champions League winners medal.

President Pique has a nice ring to it.
