Atlanta United's Stadium On FIFA 19 Looks Beautiful

Atlanta United's Stadium On FIFA 19 Looks Beautiful

Football Cliches Twitter account has been spotting when real life pictures of football look like FIFA games and they're likely to have a difficult time working out whether Atlanta United's stadium on FIFA 19 is real life or not.

They say that real life will eventually end up imitating art and when it comes to video games that's getting pretty close to being reality, not because we'll all be parachuting out of an aircraft to try and kill each other and dancing when we do.

In FIFA 19 though football on the pitch and on our game consoles are getting closer and closer to each other.

That's proved by Atlanta United's new stadium, the Mercedes Benz Stadium, looking absolutely resplendent on the new game:

The Five Stripes have only been in the MLS since 2014 but they're riding high at the moment in the Eastern Conference and are second, only behind New York Red Bulls by one point and with a game in hand.

Atlanta aren't the only team who are excited about their stadium being on the new game with Wolves having mixed emotions.

The Premier League side left the Championship at the end of last season and that means that on FIFA they've got to leave their legendary Ivy Lane stadium to move into the modern Molineux:

In a wonderfully ironic twist the game will allow Spurs fans to see their new stadium long before the Premier League side actually get to play a game in it.

Spurs new stadium was supposed to be ready for the start of the season but it was delayed and they're still playing home games at Wembley. It's caused their game against Manchester City to be moved to a Monday night and their EFL Cup game against Watford to be moved to Stadium MK.

Fortunately art can help them get over reality.
