Fans Are Loving The 'Magic' Beer At Spurs New Stadium

Fans Are Loving The 'Magic' Beer At Spurs New Stadium

Spurs have been residing at Wembley for much longer than they ever would have expected. Now though life at their new stadium is nearly upon them and fans are getting very excited, especially about the 'magic' beer.

Last season Spurs moved out of White Hart Lane for the year whilst their new stadium was built on the same site and they had to have a season playing 'home' games at Wembley.

Fans would have been expecting to move into their new digs at the beginning of this season. The club initially delayed the move for a couple of weeks, playing back-to-back away games, but soon it became clear there were bigger delays.

The north London club eventually decided to stay at the national stadium for longer and that stretched till the end of the year, meaning their first game in the new place won't be till 2019.

There's still no official date for the move but test events have taken place, allowing some fans to see what's going on, and the beer might be the best part.

The delay though nearly meant the club were left with egg on their faces. No group games were played at the new ground and on Matchday Six they needed to better Inter's result against PSV, by beating or drawing with Barcelona.

Spurs drew 1-1 in the Camp Nou but fortunately Inter only managed the same score at the San Siro against their Dutch opponents.

The new stadium will see Champions League football this season and it's likely to be when Borussia Dortmund travel to the English capital on February 12th.
