Dominic Solanke has joined the pantheon of world class footballers to win the Under-20 World Cup's Golden Ball Award following England's triumph earlier today.
The junior Three Lions side managed to overcome Venezuela in a tense final this morning, with Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring the winner, and Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman saving a late penalty.
And although he didn't score on the day, Solanke was awarded the prize for 'playing the most outstanding football during the tournament' following his four goals in the tournament.
