The Yellow Wall strikes again!

Borussia Dortmund supporters reminded the rest of Europe that they're not to be reckoned with when it comes to fan displays, after unveiling an epic tifo before their latest Champions League match last night

The Bundesliga giants went into their last-16 second leg needing to come from behind against Portuguese opponents Benfica, who secured a 1-0 win several weeks ago.

To get the win and progress to the quarter finals, the famous 'Yellow Wall' would need to be in full voice, and just before kick-off, they revealed to the world their latest artistic creation aimed at inspiring their heroes - and it was absolutely brilliant.

Here are just a few images of the brilliant banners:

The banner brilliantly referenced when the two teams met back in 1963, when Dortmund recovered from a 2-1 first leg deficit in a first round European Cup tie to hammer Benfica 5-0 in the second leg.

Of course, the tifos are newspaper reports of the second leg.

And Dortmund channel the spirit of 1963 when they swept Benfica side 4-0 last night at Signal Iduna Park.

A Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hat-trick and a strike from Christian Pulisic booked BVB's place in the next round of the Champions League.
