Luis Suarez tried to do Harry Kane's signature move on Virgil van Dijk last night but it instantly backfired on the Uruguayan.
Suarez was brought on as a substitute in Atletico Madrid's 3-2 defeat to his former club Liverpool and even though he wasn't on the scoresheet, he did have an eventful cameo.
While Atleti were chasing a late equaliser, the striker was booked for dissent in stoppage time after giving referee a load of abuse.
That came about due to Suarez's unhappiness with a challenge from Van Dijk. The two both went for the ball in the air and Suarez cheekily tried to back into the Dutchman in the same manner we have seen Kane for a number of years now.

Suarez leant on Van Dijk very similarly without any attempt for the ball at the Wanda Metropolitano but the former Celtic man anticipated what was coming and jumped early to win the header.
He still had a bit of an awkward landing but on his way down he caught Suarez on the back of the head, sending him to the turf.
Suarez was utterly furious but only talked himself into a booking. And Liverpool supporters who once adored him at Anfield very much enjoyed seeing him get punished.
Liverpool had been 2-0 and cruising through Mo Salah and Naby Keita but an Antoine Griezmann double brought Atleti back level.

Then, the France international was sent off for a reckless high boot on Roberto Firmino in the early stages of the second half.
Salah scored the winner from the spot 12 minutes from time after Mario Hermoso fouled Diogo Jota.
Atleti boss Diego Simeone appeared to snub a handshake with Jurgen Klopp by immediately running down the tunnel when the full-time whistle was blown.
