Sleep Guru Reveals Ronaldo Secret Ahead Of Manchester United Return

Routine is the key to success according to many, and that is why Cristiano Ronaldo is still going strong at the grand old age of 36, according to sleep guru Nick Littlehales.

In an interview with The Independent, Littlehales, who has worked at both Manchester United and Real Madrid, said that the Portuguese captain gets his head down at least five times before bed.

The sleep guru said that Ronaldo sleeps in the foetal position and explains how he experienced first hand whilst visiting Real Madrid just how curious the player is to learn new things that will give him another 1% advantage at his profession.

"Anyone who has ever worked with Ronaldo knows that if you have a discussion in the corner of the room, he will come over and ask what you are talking about.

"I was standing on the edge of the training pitch, talking to the Madrid staff, when Ronaldo ran over. He had been training all day and you would have expected him to run straight to the dressing room for a shower but he asked what we were discussing."

Highlighting the determination and willingness to always learn something new, Littlehales who has worked across many sports including cycling, gives a great insight to the mindset of Ronaldo and says his total obsession of being invested in himself is what sets him apart.

"Anyone who has ever worked with Ronaldo knows that if you have a discussion in the corner of the room, he will come over and ask what you are talking about. From what I have learned from working with him, Ronaldo is not interested in fad diets, he is not interested in copying others. The only thing he is concerned with is: does it work for him?"

Manchester United fans are hoping he can shift the power of the Premier League back to the red side of Manchester after City, who Ronaldo was reportedly set to sign for, have dominated in recent history.
