The Juventus forward might be best known for his penalties and goal scoring but clearly he creates a lot of the chances himself.

Cristiano Ronaldo is best known for scoring goals and some criticise him for the amount of penalties that entails but there's clearly proof that Penaldo isn't just good at putting away the easy chances.

There's nothing better than busting a myth, especially when it kills dead the opinion of a lot of people who like to shout at others about their opinion.

Of course no where is that more prevalent than with opinions on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, with the debate over the pair being on a seemingly endless loop.

At the moment it looks like Messi is on course to win his sixth European Golden Shoe award and widen the gap to his long term rival, which squashes the idea that Ronaldo is the better goalscorer of the pair, as fans of the Juve striker would like you to believe.

On the flip side there's many who prefer the Barcelona forward who would argue that Ronaldo is just about tap ins and penalties.

That theory seems like a load of nonsense and it completely goes out the window when you see just how intelligent a runner Ronaldo is. This video shows just how adept the former Real Madrid superstar is at turning defenders inside out and making space for himself:

Ronaldo's move from Real to Juventus in the summer can be seen as one of, if not the, main factors behind Los Blancos poor form this season.

During his time in the Spanish capital the five time Ballon d'Or winner scored on average 50 goals a season in all competitions, and became the club's all time top scorer.

Without him in the team goalscoring has been an issue and they won't win anything other than the FIFA Club World Cup this season.

Juve could be without their top scorer for the Champions League quarter final against Ajax after he hobbled out of the recent Portugal Euro 2020 qualifier against Serbia on Monday.

The Dutch side knocked out Real in the last round, with a surprise comeback in Madrid, and will be buoyed by one of the greatest players of all time being missing.

Maybe next week someone will prove by Paolo Maldini wasn't that good at defending...probably not though, he was damn good!
