Roberto Firmino produced a sensational flick to assist Mohamed Salah for Liverpool's third goal against Newcastle United.

Salah receives the ball from Fabinho and goes to his teammate expecting a simple give and go.

Firmino had other ideas and produced a lovely backheel to set up Salah.

The Egyptian proceeded to net past Dubravka to seal a 3-1 victory for Liverpool.

Check out the goal below.

Lovely stuff.

Twitter showered his performance with praise.

The forward received Man of the Match from BT Sport despite only playing around 50 minutes of the game.

He started on the bench with Jurgen Klopp seeming to have an eye on Liverpool's Champions League game against Napoli on Tuesday.

Injury to Divock Origi in the first half led to the 27-year-old getting involved early.

Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners this afternoon but were given a shock early on as Newcastle took the lead.

Jetro Willems' thunderbolt had Steve Bruce's side dreaming of a second shock win of the season.

However Liverpool struck back with Sadio Mane scoring two before half-time on the way to his 51st undefeated game at Anfield before Salah went on to seal it in the second half.

Firmino's link up play has proved to be valuable to Liverpool's success over the last few years.

That assist could be up there with the Brazilian's best.
