David Alaba, Javi Martinez and Renato Sanches Try To Control A Ball Fired At 60mph

The Bayern Munich trio were really put through their paces by the F2 boys, who know how to do a football trick or two.

Watch any YouTube video with an expert in football skills and you'll either be left wondering how they do it or thinking you could do it. So what about when professionals David Alaba, Javi Martinez and Renato Sanches give it a go?

My favourite thing about watching sport is when someone does something that totally baffles me and leaves me wondering exactly how the human body manages to do the things it does.

Whether that's race through the mountains for three weeks straight like the Tour de France or do anything the gymnasts do at the Olympics, it all fascinates me as I struggle to walk for more than an hour without my dodgy knees giving up.

Admittedly I'm not a man of any sporting talent so most things athletes do baffles me. As a footballer I had little skill other than winding the opposition forwards up and never giving in to either win the ball or eventually foul the man with it.

So of course even the smallest of skill makes me questioning life, including someone doing more than seven kick ups, which seems to be my maximum.

The F2 lads leave me wondering 'what is life' and now they've teamed up with David Alaba, Javi Martinez and Renato Sanches to leave me seeing stars as they attempted to control a ball fired at them at 60mph:

Anyone who saw Swansea City last season won't be too surprised to see Renato Sanches miscontrol a ball although in fairness to him this time it is being hit at him at a speed faster than the cars on the road.

Bayern will be once again expected to dominate the Bundesliga this season and they started with a 5-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFL Supercup, to get revenge for losing in the Germany Cup final last year.

Their only signings this summer have been American youngster Alphonso Davies for €10 million and the even more impressive signing of Leon Goretzka for free.

Perhaps most importantly the German champions have managed to keep Robert Lewandowski out of the clutches of Real Madrid.
