Sadio Mane Had A Priceless Reaction To Young Liverpool Fan Saying His Brother Supports Manchester United

Sadio Mane Had A Priceless Reaction To Young Liverpool Fan Saying His Brother Supports Manchester United

"Have you seen the last game against them?"

Sadio Mane had a hilarious reaction to a young Liverpool fan telling him his brother supports Manchester United on a Zoom call.

Liverpool players took part in their annual chat with patients of Alder Hey hospital, sadly not being able to attend in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Mane and Mohamed Salah chatted to Morgan and asked if he was a Liverpool fan.

“Yes,” he replied, before following up with, “But my brother is Man Utd.”

The Senegal international couldn't hide his disappointment and head in hands, replies: "Oooh wrong team.”

Jurgen Klopp's side ran out 5-0 winners over United at Old Trafford back in October and it's arguably one of the biggest drubbings in Premier League history.

Salah scored a hat-trick in that game and Liverpool were 4-0 up by half-time in remarkable scenes.

Mane immediately asked Morgan: “Have you seen the last game against them?”

With a smile, the lad says: “Yeah, 5-0."

"It looks like you enjoyed it," Salah then chimes in with before Mane gets in one final dig at United saying, "I'm sure your brother was sad."

Club captain Jordan Henderson, Thiago, Alisson and Fabinho are among other stars who feature in the heartwarming video.

Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League and drew 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur last time out.

An entertaining contest saw Liverpool go down to ten men after Andy Robertson was sent off for kicking out at Emerson Royal.

While the challenge itself deserved a red, many believe Harry Kane's high challenge on Robertson in the first half was worth a red card.

The Spurs forward was only given a booking and VAR judged it to be fair.

Robertson addressed the controversy on Instagram and admitted he'd been rash.

He wrote: "I was brought up to take responsibility when you’ve done something wrong and I have to admit my challenge was poor and misjudged. My mistake giving them the chance to make the decision. Gutted!

"Probably best I don’t speak about other things in the match, other than to say how proud I am of the rest of the team. Me aside, the boys were different class in unbelievably difficult circumstances.

"Support unreal as well in difficult times! Wish we could of rewarded it with a win!"
