Manchester United have been dealt a huge blow ahead of the Manchester derby as Paul Pogba has missed out on the squad against Manchester City due to an injury.
Rumours started earlier in the week that Paul Pogba might miss out on the Manchester United squad for the game against Manchester City on Sunday but the reports were unconfirmed.
Pogba has been influential during United's recent run of good results, especially with his performances in the second half of games, and turned the tie in the derby last season when United came from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

The Frenchman was part of United's winner against Juventus in midweek in the Champions League as his pressure at the back post led to Alex Sandro scoring an own goal, as he played all 90 minutes.
However it seems that the former Juve player picked up an injury against his old club and has missed out on the matchday squad as Jose Mourinho's team attempt to close the gap against their rivals.
Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic and Marouane Fellaini make up United's midfield for the afternoon whilst there is also a return to the starting line up for Jesse Lingard.

Romelu Lukaku is fit enough to be back in the squad but neither he or Alexis Sanchez start with Marcus Rashford starting upfront and the other two forwards on the bench.
Pep Guardiola's side are at full strength with Aymeric Laporte and John Stones at centre back together and Fernandinho, David Silva and Bernardo Silva making up the midfield.
Only the injured Kevin de Bruyne misses out.
United start the game nine points behind their local rivals and a win could take them up to sixth in the league. City know avoiding a loss would take them back above Liverpool as the race for the title remains tight.
