José Mourinho has been on the back foot after a disappointing start for Manchester United this season. While the Red Devils have bounced back before the start of the international break, it's not getting any easier for the Special One.
Look, Mourinho has some harsh critics out there, but it seems like another one has stepped up to the plate. Oh, and its United legend Eric Cantona that's come out to speak his mind on United.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, King Eric believes that Mourinho isn't the right fit for the Red Devils and believes that it should have been Pep Guardiola in the Old Trafford hot-seat.
"But it is early in the season [for United]... too early to tell," he said. "Manchester United is a great club and will always be great. They will win things, I know they will.
"But the way they play? Not good. The manager has them playing the wrong way for the fans. No fun, no creativity.
"I like Mourinho. He has a good personality but not for United - they should have [Pep] Guardiola as coach. He should be there, but he is doing magic with that other club. The club I cannot name."
You better look away now, Mourinho, as Cantona wasn't done there. He has some strong words of praise for how well City have done under the leadership of Guardiola.
"Listen. I joke about Manchester City but they are playing great football," he added.
"It's just that I think Guardiola should be at United. He is the spiritual child of Johan Cruyff - he played under Cruyff at Barcelona and learned everything from him.
"He's the only person who should be at United."
The spirit child of Cruyff? That's one hell of an endorsement from the United legend.
Should United have chosen Guardiola over Mourinho?
