No matter what happens on Thursday night, when Manchester City face Liverpool in the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp knows that Pep Guardiola is pretty scared of his side's attacking prowess.

Manchester City vs Liverpool might be taking place in early January but there's plenty of people who think that it might be a title decider, if Liverpool win.

The Reds are currently unbeaten in the Premier League and already seven points ahead of the champions, a win at the Etihad would make that 10 points and that would make it a long way back for City.

The two sides have quite the recent history and Liverpool were definitely leading the head-to-heads in 2018, winning in the Champions League and the league.

A moment in Amazon's 'All or Nothing' documentary, which had brilliant behind the scenes access, showed that ahead of that Champions League game Guardiola was so concerned about Liverpool he spoke about them ahead of a game against Everton.

Ahead of the pairs Champions League meeting last season the former Barcelona manager was very complimentary about Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah, exclaiming they 'scare' him:

It's no surprise that Guardiola was a little bit worried by Liverpool's front three considering they scored 91 goals between them in all competitions last season.

He was also right to think they were dangerous as the Reds won 5-1 over the two legs of the sides' quarter finals and the front three were responsible for four of the goals, only Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain getting on the scoresheet other than them.

Liverpool had the wood over City last season. As well as the 3-0 win at Anfield and 2-1 win at the Etihad in the Champions League they were also the first team to beat Guardiola's side in the Premier League in a 4-3 January barnstormer.

City didn't have a good end to 2018 really with three losses in four in December, against Chelsea, Leicester City and Crystal Palace, and now they face an unbeaten Liverpool.

There might be a long way to go of the season but Thursday could be a title decider.
