John Terry is one of the greatest defenders in the history of the Premier League so surely no man or beast could have scared him during his time at Chelsea? The former England captain confirmed the one man who put the frighteners up him.

For 19 seasons John Terry played at the heart of the defence for Chelsea, seeing them go from a mid table side who occasionally pushed further into one of the Premier League's best sides and multiple time champions.

There weren't many strikers from his debut in 1998 to him leaving at the end of last season for Aston Villa that the former Blues captain didn't come up against and, having won five league title and lots of other domestic trophies there weren't many who got the better of him.

However no superhero can be complete without his arch nemesis. Of course it depends where you stand whether you think Terry is the hero or the villain but even he had someone to be scared of.

Speaking on Sky Sports for Monday night football the 37 year old revealed who his toughest opponent was, saying:

"Henry was my most feared striker [I played against]. He was terrifying. He was the best by far.

"He had everything, the movement. He was incredible. He would be the one before games, I'd say, 'it's going to be tough tomorrow.' Nobody else did that."

It's not exactly a huge surprise that he picked Henry, in his eight seasons at the Emirates the Frenchman became one of the best forwards in the world, scoring 226 times for the Gunners.

Henry won the Premier League's top scorer award four times during his time in England and must have scared plenty of defences.

Terry also revealed Liverpool was his least favourite away trip adding, "Going to Anfield was horrible. The atmosphere: you would drive from the hotel, a 30 minute bus ride and they were all on the streets, winding you up, throwing stuff at the bus."
