The Liverpool midfielder hasn't had a great start to the season after being tonked in two matches in a row with two different clubs.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain managed to get his dream move to Liverpool after rejecting a move to Chelsea but despite that he's had a bad start to the season and Michael Keane has stuck the boot in on Twitter.

It's been a weird start to the season for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The Ox was largely ignored as one of Arsenal's players with just one year left on his contract at the Emirates.

He was the only one who outright told Arsene Wenger that he wasn't willing to sign a new deal despite the fact that the contract on the table was reportedly £180,000-a-week, a huge pay rise.

Then Chelsea had an offer accepted for him but the former Southampton winger didn't want to go because he wanted a move instead to Liverpool to become the next Steven Gerrard.

Then he lined up against Liverpool at right wing back as the Reds tonked Arsenal 4-0 and followed that by moving to Anfield, where he then lost 5-0 to Manchester City in his first game with Jurgen Klopp's side.

After two draws this week it really hasn't been a great start to 2017/18 season for him and now Everton defender Michael Keane may have stuck the boot in with a possibly accidental liking of a tweet mocking the Ox:

Of course no one can be sure for certain whether or not the Everton centre-back meant to like the tweet or not and he obviously has unliked it now.

Keane, who only moved to Goodison Park in the summer, hardly has too much to smile about with the Toffees currently struggling and in the relegation zone after the 4-0 loss to Manchester United.

The Ox will be hoping his season gets better.
