Neymar Deletes Reaction To Barcelona's Penalty Vs PSG

Neymar was clearly unhappy at Barcelona winning a penalty against PSG on Tuesday night, but he quickly deleted his reaction on Twitter.

Former Barca forward Neymar had to watch on as his current team faced his ex side in the Champions League last 16 first leg at the Nou Camp.

PSG started the game as the better side, with Mauro Icardi missing the perfect opportunity to put the away team ahead, but controversy struck in the 26th minute when the hosts were awarded a penalty.

Lionel Messi came deep to get the ball and played a fantastic pass over the top of the Paris defence to find Frenkie de Jong in the box. The Dutchman was adjudged to have been tripped and the referee pointed to the spot.

There was some controversy with many suggesting the former Ajax midfielder tripped himself and Neymar was certainly amongst them.

Taking to Twitter the injured Brazilian put a load of laughing emojis and said "Joke that penalty," before swiftly deleting the post.

You can see for yourself what you think about whether or not the penalty should have been given.

Having played the brilliant ball that led to the penalty, Messi then stepped up and struck the perfect spot kick, going high to Keylor Navas' left.

The former Real Madrid goalkeeper did go the right way but there was no way that he was going to stop the Catalan giants going ahead.

If that was a blow to Mauricio Pochettino's side then it didn't take too long for the blow to be softened, as they were soon level.

Kylian Mbappe scored his first goal against Barca to make it 1-1.

PSG easily could have been ahead by the end of the half but Icardi just headed wide from a corner, when given an easy enough chance.
