Andrew Robertson has admitted he wouldn't ruffle Lionel Messi's har again, as he did in the Champions League last season, and admitted it was very disrespectful.
The Liverpool defender was part of the incredible comeback in the Champions League semi final last year, as the Reds came back from 3-0 down after the first leg against Barcelona, to reach the final.
In the second leg at Anfield Robertson became an instant hero to many fans of the club when he ruffled Messi's hair after the two men had tangled. Whilst the moment became iconic the left back wouldn't do it again if the situation repeated itself.

"We both ended up on the ground and I ruffled his hair a wee bit. He wasn't too happy, but it's something I wouldn't do again," he told the Peter Crouch podcast on BBC.
"It's just disrespectful to the best player that's ever played the game. I do regret it, but it's something that everyone relates to me now. I wasn't thinking clearly."
The moment came early in the game with Jurgen Klopp's side still needing three goals just to take the game to extra time, as long as Barca didn't score once.

Divock Origi scored after just seven minutes, only starting due to Mo Salah's injury, but the English side were still behind on aggregate at the break.
Robertson actually went off at half time with an injury and his replacement, Georginio Wijnaldum, scored twice in the second half to put Liverpool level, before Origi's famous winner from Trent Alexander-Arnold's famous corner.
Liverpool then went on to win the title, beating Spurs in the final, and then had a bus parade in Merseyside to celebrate their sixth European title, and Robertson also revealed the fail that occurred towards the end, saying, "We ended up being on the bus for 5 or 6 hours. It's an electric bus so it can go nice and slow. We headed back to Melwood and the bus ran out of battery, so we got stuck halfway up a hill. We ended up getting another bus."
The 26-year-old Scot is considering one of, if not the number one, left back in the world and has once again had an excellent season this campaign.

Robertson has seven assists this season as he and Alexander-Arnold, on the opposite side of the defence, have become integral with how the Reds play.
Next time he comes up against Messi expect the former Hull City defender to just show his dominance by playing rather ruffling anyone's hair, or any feathers.
