WATCH: You May Have Missed What Luis Suarez Did To Sergio Ramos In El Clasico

It would be shocking, it it wasn't Luis Suarez.

On Sunday evening, Barcelona and Real Madrid played out a dramatic Spanish Super Cup El Clasico first leg at the Nou Camp, and though Cristiano Ronaldo was the man who captured the headlines, having scored a worldie goal before being sent off for diving, pushing the referee and being hit with a five-game ban for pushing the referee, Luis Suarez was heavily involved in controversy as per usual.

Lionel Messi equalised from the spot in the 77th minute, with Suarez conning the man in the middle into thinking that Keylor Navas had brought him down inside the area.

The Uruguayan, inevitably, has a habit of going to ground with ease and in this instance, plunged to the ground despite minimal, or quite possibly no contact, from the Real Madrid shotstopper.

Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos was fuming with Suarez's antics and proceeded to walk up to him and grab his shirt, throwing him to the ground in frustration.

And that wasn' the only coming together between the two, as Spanish outlet MARCA have pointed out.

Suarez, of course, has a reputation for mixing it with opposition defenders a bit too much and has a history of lashing out and biting, as the likes of Branislav Ivanovic and Giorgio Chiellini can attest to.

He didn't do that reputation any good at all during the El Clasico, as footage shows.

In one clip, the former Liverpool striker can be seen kicking out at Ramos in an off-the-ball incident that wasn't spotted by the referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea:

But that wasn't all though, as Suarez was at it again at another point in the game. This time, he shrugs off the onrushing Ramos to feed Messi out wide, but off the ball, aims a kick in the direction of his opponent.

He just can't help himself can he? Of course, Ramos is not exactly the most likeable bloke himself and was likely winding Suarez up throughout the game, but even with everything Suarez has done over the years, and all the incidents that have resulted in lengthy bans, the 30-year old still struggles to manage his urges to lash out.

Suarez was a very lucky man at the Camp Nou, and whoever is in charge for the second leg will surely pay closer attention to his off the ball shenanigans.
