WATCH: Antoine Griezmann Receives Two Yellow Cards In Three Seconds In Bizarre Incident

Atletico Madrid fought back from two down to secure the point in their opening game of the La Liga but did so without Antoine Griezmann who was sent off.

New boys Girona raced to a two goal lead courtesy of former Boro striker, Cristhian Stuani. He netted in the 22nd minute then 25th minute to give his side the dream start.

And twenty minutes into the second half, Atletico were made to work without the services of their French talisman. Check out the footage below.

The referee adjudged Griezmann to have dived inside the box which prompted him to brandish a yellow card. Though dissent saw him receive a second yellow card.
