Only a handful of players have played for both Liverpool and Everton down the years. Kevin Sheedy, Peter Beardsley and more recently Sander Westerveld come to mind.
But if you look back at the past 10 years, not a single player has decided to take the plunge.
In fact, the most recent player to move directly between the clubs was Abel Xavier in 2002, but that could all change if Liverpool's reported interest in Everton forward Richarlison gets serious.
Brazilian outlet UOL claim that Richarlison's agent, Renato Velasco, has recently met Jurgen Klopp at his house as rumours intensify over a potential transfer.

They report that the 21-year-old had offers of over £50 million in the January transfer window, but the offers were quickly played down after the club labelled him "irreplaceable."
It is believed that the club would only sell Richarlison for over £70 million.
This isn't the first the player has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park in recent months and you can't blame clubs for chasing his signature.

In his first season at the club, the Brazilian made a great start to life in England as Marco Silva's side started their Premier League campaign brilliantly.
He has since built on that form, scoring 16 goals in 41 appearances in the 2018/19 campaign for club and country.
